ADRC recently made a presentation to the local council of the commune of Djakotomey. Djakotomey is located in the Department of Couffo and consists of ten districts and 72 villages with a total population around 130,000. ADRC and the officials of Djakotomey hope to work together to increase revenues and improve the management of public finances. ADRC and the mayor’s office are currently searching for financial partners for this endeavor.

ADRC Director, Prof. Sylvain Boko, was recently awarded the KWABO trophy for his contributions to the development of Benin. The prize was awarded by the NGO Vies & Valeurs in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cotonou on Saturday, 14 December 2013.
